Gold-Dipped Terracotta Succulent Planters

Lay out a plastic sheet or newspaper in a well-ventilated area to protect your workspace.
Clean the terracotta pots thoroughly to remove dust and dirt for a smooth paint finish.
Use painter’s tape to mask off the top half of each pot, creating a clean dividing line.
Shake the metallic gold spray paint well according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Hold the spray can 6–8 inches from the pot and apply light, even coats to the bottom half. Allow each coat to dry before adding another if needed.
Once the paint is completely dry, carefully remove the painter’s tape to reveal a crisp line between the painted and natural sections.
Fill each pot with potting soil and plant your succulents or small plants.
Arrange the finished planters on your patio, windowsill, shelf, or any desired display area.

Try other metallic shades such as silver, copper, or rose gold for a different look.
Add stencils or geometric patterns to the painted section for extra style and texture.
Use chalk paint on the unpainted terracotta section to create writable plant labels.
Seal the painted portion with a clear outdoor sealer if the pots will stay outside year-round.
